Condition: Forged only (no heat treatment or testing)
Size: 300mm up to 800mm diameter
Reduction ratio: Between 4:1 & 3.5:1
Hot working sufficient to develop a wrought structure throughout the bar made by electric arc process, fine grain melting practice, fully killed & vacuum degassed, full deoxidized.
To be free from porosity, inclusions and laminations, all material must be defect free, smooth, straight surface, ultra sonic tested - guaranteed dnv os-f101 (3mm flat bottom holes).

Lloyds registered high quality forged steel is quickly available from mills in Russia and Ukraine. The forging weight can be up to 350 tonnes and the factories produce many items for aerospace, space, nuclear and power industries.
If you need shaft / rotor / spindle quickly (less than 3-6 months), then we have the answer!
Raw forged billet / bar stock can be produced and delivered in 1-2 months. The ability to produce specific chemistry "Lloyds registered" steel is easily available through Olsen Engineering UK Ltd. We have a trusted network of Eastern European contacts, built up over many years and good relationships with the senior management at the mills.

Granite and Marble
Ukrainian marble and granite is regarding as one of the best quality in the world. It has a very high density and hence can be used in a wide range of internal / external applications. The most popular range is the Real Grey or Grey Ukraine brands supplied in 30 tonne block form or 0.65m x 1/2/3m x 30mm slabs finished or un finished. Slabs can be profiled if necessary. For the UK domestic market Santiago Rd and Volga Blue Labradites are popular.
